For a comfy afternoon - the comfy cafe in Roscommon

Here’s where you go for a decent lunch, a sweet treat or simply a nice cup of creamy coffee & a chat.

What I liked most: sipping a lovely cappuccino while listening to the sounds of Bruce, Simon & Garfunkel and Jimi Hendrix – a truly relaxed atmosphere.

Situated quiet close to the Shannon Roscommon City is one little vibrant place. It’s friendly, colourful & rustic. Here’s where people know each other - where you hear a friendly “How’s it going” and even your name. Queuing in the local shop, getting your fish from the little street van, or fresh vegetables at the little market place at the quarter.

But what is it all without a cup of coffee and a little treat? If you're going for a lovely stroll along those little boutiques in the main shopping street you will find this little artisan place, barstools & sofas, butterfly cushions & wooden furnitures. You find art on the walls and artists behind the counter. Let me tell you a little secret... I was surprised to see one of my art students – a local talent. There is plenty of art at the walls, I wouldn't be surprised if we'd see some local art on the walls at some point. It's just the quirky place that can't be missed in any city.
